Alexis graduated from the University of Cordoba (Spain) in 2012 and started working in a referral hospital where he developed an especial interest in surgery. In 2015 he moved to the UK where he worked in small animal practice and undertook two internships in small animal surgery, one at North Downs Specialist Referrals (Surrey) followed by a year at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies (the University of Edinburgh).
In 2019 he gained his general practitioner’s certificate in small animal surgery. He is co-author of several publications as well as he has presented some of his manuscripts in international congresses.
Alexis joined Lamond vets in 2020 as a Senior Vet to became Clinical director in 2021. Alexis enjoys the challenges of all aspects of surgery, both soft tissue and orthopaedic as well as medical cases.
