Having wanted to work with animals since a very young age, Tanya began her dream career of Veterinary Nursing in 2012 when she started the degree programme at Edinburgh Napier University. When she graduated in 2016 Tanya joined a mixed practice in the borders, where she enjoyed the James Herriot feel to the practice – being involved with both pets and large animals.
Tanya recently decided to move to a small animal only practice, to allow her to continue to develop her skills in areas of anaesthesia and behaviour which she particularly enjoys. Tanya loves all aspects of the job and with the variety of cases seen at Lamond, there are always plenty of pets to cuddle and nurse better!
She looks forward to getting to know the clients and patients better and giving them the great forward-thinking care that this practice offers.
